Every October the Amsterdam Dance Event takes over the city for five days and nights. Hundreds of venues host thousands of artists, daytime conference sessions fill hotels near the centre and the Zuidas, and a crowd of visitors from every continent arrives with very little intention of sleeping. This note explains what changes, what does not, and how to arrange an hour that fits around the music rather than competing with it.
What ADE does to the city
For five days the ordinary rhythm of Amsterdam is suspended. Clubs that normally close at five stay open around the clock, warehouses in Noord and the western docks host daytime parties, and the canal ring fills with people walking between venues at three in the morning. Hotels sell out weeks ahead and room rates climb. Taxis are harder to find at closing times, and the ferries across the IJ run full. None of this closes anything on the house's side; the booking line runs as it always does, twenty-four hours a day. What changes is the demand, which rises sharply, and the number of guests asking for the same late-night hours.
Erotic massage during ADE counts as a peak date
The house treats ADE week as a peak date. That means every booking during the event, including a returning guest's same-day hour, sends half of the fee ahead as a deposit. For a single client with one woman, a one-hour booking is €180, so €90 is sent when the office confirms and €90 is paid to her at the door. Two hours is €360, with €180 on each side. When to write
On an ordinary night, a message sent an hour before you want her is enough. During ADE, write earlier. If you know which evening you want, write the day before, and if you want a particular woman from the roster, write two or three days ahead. A booking made more than twenty-four hours in advance carries a deposit anyway, so writing early costs nothing extra that week. Same-night bookings are still possible, but you may be offered a different woman or a slightly later start than you asked for.
The calmer hours of the week
Demand follows the clubs. The busiest request times are between two and six in the morning, when guests return from venues and want an hour before sleep. If you can be flexible, three other windows are noticeably easier to arrange.
- Late morning. Most of the city is asleep, arrival is smooth and hotel corridors are empty.
- Early evening, before dinner. Conference sessions have ended and the clubs have not yet opened. An hour between six and eight fits neatly into the day.
- The afternoon after a long night. Guests who slept until two often find a mid-afternoon booking restorative before going out again.
Anywhere central, she arrives forty to sixty minutes after the confirmation, and that window holds during ADE too. What the week changes is how quickly a free woman can be found, not how far she has to travel.
A clear head matters more this week
ADE is a week of long nights, and many guests will have been drinking or dancing for hours when they write. Sharing a room with friends

If you are sharing, agree a time when the room is yours, or book when your friends are at a venue. Do not assume a sleeping friend in the next bed will stay asleep. If the apartment has a separate bedroom with a door that closes, that is enough.
Practical checklist for the week
Write early and name a backup woman. Expect the deposit, and have a card, Revolut, Wise or crypto ready to send it. Give the exact hotel entrance, since many buildings near the venues have side doors for events. Tell the office if your hotel requires a visitor to show identification at the desk. Keep your phone charged, because she will message when she is close and a dead battery at four in the morning is the most common reason a booking goes wrong.
